Prince George's County RBI
Welcome to the Prince George's County RBI registration center. Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) is a Major League Baseball youth outreach program designed to increase participation in baseball and softball, encourage academic participation and achievement, and increase the number of talented athletes prepared to play in college and the minor leagues. Additionally the RBI program seeks to promote greater inclusion of minorities in the mainstream of the game and teach the value of teamwork.
Since it's induction in 1989, over 200 RBI participants have been drafted by MLB ball clubs. Notable alumni of the RBI program include Carl Crawford, Coco Crisp, James Loney, CC Sabathia, Justin Upton and three-time All-Star Manny Machado.
Prince George's County is offering the opportunity to play in three distinct RBI leagues, Juniors (ages 13-15), Seniors (ages 16-18) and Softball (ages 13-18). Each participant in the RBI leagues will have the opportunity to qualify for their leagues respective RBI All-Star team and will be able to participate in the RBI Regional Tournament held in Philadelphia, PA in July. Winners of the RBI Regional Tournament will advance to the RBI National Tournament in Cincinnati, OH!
